Matt is one of the top defenseman in New England and proved this with such an outstanding season last year. His strengths are his size, quickness, excellent positioning, and superior checks and holds. He can neutralize top attackman going one on one, and he plays extremely well in the team's defensive schemes. Matt, a co-captain, is going to Fairfield University as a recruited player next year.
