Exeter - Andover Alumni Lacrosse Game

A record number of Exeter lacrosse alumni showed up for the alumni game this year and ended up taking a forfeit from Andover who had a very small showing for them. Exeter gave players to Andover in order for a game to be played. With Exeter players on both teams, the typical intensity and seriousness that has been diplayed in this game in the past was just not there. Instead, it felt more like an intra-squad scrimmage, but lots of fun and high quality play ensued nevertheless. Appropriately, the game ended up tied 3-3 as defense and good goalie play dominated the field. The hot weather made things difficult for some of the guys who were not in top shape, but the numbers were sufficient to keep fresh legs out there all the time.
