Yuri is a 3-sport varsity athlete in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. His athleticism is one of his big assets in and out of the goal, and he is also very sound fundamentally as far as technique. As a 10th grader, Yuri led the JV team last year to an 8-3 record, and he will definitely challenge senior Alec Shand for the starting job in the nets this season.
