Sam was a big surprise at tryouts because none of the coaches were aware that this PG hockey player also played lacrosse. Sam was a key defenseman for the successful hockey team this past winter, and early indications are that he will provide some nice added left-handed depth to the attack unit this spring. Sam has a tough take-it-to-the-goal attitude that one would expect from a hockey player, and he should be a nice addition to the team.
