The Final Four Tournament for the NESCAC championship features semi-final matchups on Saturday, May 8th of Middlebury vs Amherst and Tufts vs Wesleyan. Eight Exeter alumni play prominant roles on all four of these teams as ex-teammates and good friends go head to head as they compete for the automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA tournament. The Championship game is Sunday, May 9th.

Middlebury (#1 seed) - Senior Michael Saraceni was a DIII All-American last year, Middlebury's high scorer this season, and is the key to their offense. Sophomore Gabe Wood has been recently thrust into a critical starting close defense role due to an injury of one of Middlebury's captains and best players. He has big shoes to fill, and the MIDD coaches feel he is up to the job.

Tufts (#2 seed) - Sophomore Casey D'Annolfo has scored 9 goals and 1 assist on the season, and will certainly see some important minutes in these big games. Freshman Wiley Dornseif is the 4th defenseman behind three talented veterans, and he also plays a lot of minutes in key situations.

Wesleyan (#3 seed) - Freshman Mike Hines has scored 14 goals and 12 assists in his first season, and is the 6th leading scorer on the team. He is a key guy in their man-up situations and plays often on offense to exploit a short stick matchup.Freshman middie Taylor Evans plays mostly a reserve roll this year.

Amherst (#4 seed) - Starting junior defenseman Greg Donohue was an All-NESCAC selection last year as one of the top defenseman in this tough conference. While Greg leads the defense, junior midfielder Joaquin Walker will strike fear in the heart of defenders as they try and cope with his incredible speed. Joaquin has 15 goals and 13 assists on the season and is Amherst's 4th leading scorer.
