2004 Honors and Awards
The Eastern New England lacrosse coaches met
on Tuesday, May 18th to vote on post season awards, All-American selections,
Senior East-West game selections, and all-league selections. Exeter's great
season was duly noted by the selection of many Exeter players for post season
honors.
SECONDARY SCHOOL ALL-AMERICAN
Tom Petty
Tom was the only undergraduate All-American selected in Eastern
New England this year. He joins many former Exeter great players on the Exeter
All American list , with Michael Saraceni '00, Joaquin Walker '01, and
Bart Hacking '95 as the only Exeter underclassmen to ever be voted All-American.
He is not only enjoying a tremendous season with his team leading current
scoring totals of 40 goals and 34 assists, but Tom now stands in 5th
place on Exeter's All Time Scoring List with career totals of 83 goals
and 65 assists with one game remainingthis season.
East-West Senior
All-Star Game Selections
The Division I Senior Prep School East-West
All Star game will be played on Friday evening, May 28th, at 7:00 PM, at Cushing
Academy. There is a maximum of three players plus an alternate that can be
selected from any one school. Exeter was one of the few schools honored by
having the maximum number of players selected.
