The Final Four Tournament for the NESCAC championship features semi-final matchups on Saturday, May 3rd of Middlebury vs Amherst and Tufts vs Wesleyan. Five Exeter alumni will play prominant roles as ex-teammates and good friends go head to head as they compete for the automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA tournament. The Championship game is Sunday, May 4th

Middlebury (#1 seed) - Junior Michael Saraceni (Exeter '00) is the leading scorer for Middlebury, and one of the top attackman in all of DIII lacrosse this year. Freshman long pole Gabe Wood '02 (Exeter '02) is in the playing mix of defenders for one of the best defensive units in the country. They will use Gabe at long pole and close defense.

Tufts (#2 seed) - Tufts has had a great year to earn the #2 seed, and freshman Casey D'Annolfo (Exeter '02) starts on their man-up team, and is in the rotation to get some playing time at attack.

Amherst (#4 seed) - Amherst gave Middlebury a close game during the season, and will count on great games from starting sophomore defenseman Greg Donohue (Exeter '01) and speedy sophomore midfielder Joaquin Walker (Exeter '01) to help upset the Panthers. Greg will certainly have some close encounters with good friend Michael Saraceni, and Gabe Wood and Joaquin might also face each other man to man as well.
