Exeter 15  NMH 5

Michael Saraceni went over the 200 point total for his career as his 6 goals and 3 assists led Exeter to a convincing 15-5 win over NMH. While Saraceni, Ryan Glennon (2 goals, 3 assists), and Damien Chaviano ( 4 goals, 1 assist) led the offensive assault, goalie Brian Anand and game ball winner Will Gilmore led the defense. Anand stopped many excellent shots by NMH and finished the game with a season high 17 saves. Will neutralized their top scorer for most of the game, and teamed with Greg Donohue, Ben Courchesne, Adam White, and Nick Crawford to shut out NMH for the entire first half. Exeter jumped out to a 4-0 first quarter lead on the strength of ball control, ball movement, and finding the open man. The lead opened up to 8-0 by halftime, with Brian Anand making two big saves in the closing seconds to keep NMH off the scoreboard. Although NMH scored the first goal of the 2nd half, Exeter answered with 3 goals of their own to take an insurmountable 11-1 lead into the 4th quarter. The reserve players worked hard in the 4th quarter and managed to match the 4 goals scored by NMH.
