Exeter 14  Cushing 4

The Big Red continued its winning streak with a convincing 14 - 4 win over Cushing. Exeter was led by Michael Saraceni who not only scored an impressive 5 goals and 5 assists, but in the process became the all time leading scorer in Exeter lacrosse history. Also having outstanding offensive games were Ryan Glennon with 2 goals and 3 assists, and Colin Thune with 3 goals. The first half did not feature Exeter's best lacrosse as they struggled to a 5-2 lead despite some sloppy passing and missed ground balls. Game ball winner Brian Anand made several excellent saves in the first half that kept the game from being even closer. However, Exeter made up for the mistakes of the first half with an incredible 3rd quarter display of fine lacrosse. The Big Red exploded with 7 unanswered goals in the first 6 minutes of play to essentially put the game away. The first of those 7 goals was the 100th point of Ryan Glennon's great 4-year career at Exeter, and puts him in 5th place on the all time career scoring list. The defense played well and did a particularly nice job of clearing the ball. One of those clears resulted in a goal by defenseman Greg Donohue.
