Tom Petty- 2005

Tom will go down in Exeter lacrosse lore as one of the top attackmen to play the game for the Big Red. He was the 4th attackman on a very strong team as a prep, and by the next year, he was the team's high scorer with a new 10th grade scoring record of 30 goals and 27 assists. As an upper, Tom had a remarkable year and was honored by Eastern coaches with All-American distinction. His 44 goals and 36 assists established a new Exeter record for 11th graders, and his career totals after 3 seasons placed him 4th on the all time Exeter scoring list. He helped lead the team to a 15-4 record that year and was clearly one of the best offensive players in New England. Tom was unable to play in his senior year, but is headed off to Middlebury where he will be part of the great Panther lacrosse tradition.
