George earned the special distinction of Academic All-American during his senior year as a result of his terrific play on the field, and his superior work in his studies. George was nicknamed "Hoover" by his coaches because of his uncanny ability to always come up with any contested ground ball. He enjoyed a very successful lax career at Dartmouth, where he became one of their most steady midfielders, and a key scorer for the Big Green. George played all four years at Dartmouth, and graduated in 2001. |
