Phillips Exeter Academy
Lacrosse Career Scoring
Leaders
*Stewart
Lindsay Jr. '52
played only 29 career games due to nine and ten game schedules in the 1950's,
yet he set all Exeter scoring records at that time and for many years afterwards
by attaining a career total of 100 goals. No accurate assist figure exists,
but he was a crease attackman and primarily a scorer. His career goals per game
average of 3.45 far surpasses anyone on the list below. In his senior year of
1952, he scored 49 goals in a 10-game season. For this reason, Stewart must
be considered the greatest goal scorer in Exeter history.
* All-American Eric Slingerland set the midfield points scoring record of 40 goals and 21 assists for 61 points in the 16 game 2009 season.
* 9th grade record for scoring is currently held by Charlie Gill '12 with 26 goals and 25 assists for 51 points in the 16 game 2009 season
* 10th grade scoring record is currently held by Charlie Gill '12 with 36 goals and 25 assists for 61 points in the 18 game schedule of 2010.
